Since Nepal is a country of diversification with its geography and climate, a nature lover can always make it as his destination of trekking year round. Normally four seasons are considered in Nepal , each of which has its own particular attraction to offer.
In the winter (December to Mid February) the weather is cool and the sky is clear with occasional snowfalls at higher elevations, the air is tinkling sharp and the stars have that crystal twinkle. This season is best for trekking in lower elevations generally below 3200m. The weather is at its finest and direst, great condition, in the mornings and nights are cold but daytime temperatures are mild when it is sunny. Low altitude trek to Annapurna region, Langtang Helambu region, Everest region and village tours. Even Everest base camp can be organized in winter.
The advantages of winter trekking is you will find the trekking trails and villages have few trekkers and you can enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas without any crowds

Langtang Valley Trekking
The Langtang Valley lies closer to Kathmandu than other trekking regions, and is lesser used by both trekkers and local. The Langtang valley is aptly called the valley of glaciers here; mountains rise soaring toward the sky. Annapurna Royal Trek
Whilst you will still pass through many remote villages, these regions are so unspoiled as to have no tea-houses, and you will need to camp. Again, the range of mountains you can view on these treks is superb. Made famous when Prince Charles of Britain before marriage trekked the same route in 1981, the route has been aptly named the 'Royal Trek'. Traveling through the villages set among the cultivated fields and meeting the people is quite unforgettable experience. ..........
