Royal Trekking
Whilst you will still pass through many remote villages, these regions are so unspoiled as to have no tea-houses, and you will need to camp. Again, the range of mountains you can view on these treks is superb. Made famous when Prince Charles of Britain before marriage trekked the same route in 1981, the route has been aptly named the ‘Royal Trek’. Traveling through the villages set among the cultivated fields and meeting the people is quite unforgettable experience.
This four days trek commences from Pokhara, the valley of lakes offering panoramic views of the Annapurna massif as also of the Manaslu Himal. This route was first trekked by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1980 and hence is known as the ‘Royal Trek’. This is the best trek for those who want to experience village life and striking mountain views in a relatively short period of time.
