This one of the best trekking in Nepal has officially open for trekking in the early 90s, The Manaslu trekking with the Larkya la pass is relatively less trekked and the culture and traditions are less affected, this is one of the finest trekking in the Himalaya From Gorkha you trek up the wild Buri Gandakhi River, through rough gorges slicing between Himachuli (7890m) and Ganesh Himal (7429m). The trails are steep but your first sight of the classic peak of Manaslu (8165m) dissolves the fatigue, and the Buddhist prayer flags and chortens seem to offer spiritual support as you climb towards the biggest challenge of this trek is to your goal-Larkya La Pass (5153m).
The views of Manaslu and the neighboring peaks are worth the effort, and time is spent on the pass taking photos or just preserving the scene in your mind’s eye. A steep descent into the Marsyangdi Valley is rewarded with a delightful walk back along the river through alpine forests alive with flowers, ferns, bamboo, pine, waterfalls and aqua-blue green lakes which are laced with cotton-white beaches
After the Manaslu larkya la pass you will join the world famous Annapuran circuit trekking with the mountain pass, the world’s deepest valleys, the high and wild desert plateau of western Tibet, monasteries, pristine forests and people as diverse as Tibetan Buddhist lamas and Hindu villagers.
We begin the trekking from Bagarchhap and climbs through terraced hillsides and wooded ridges as you ascend the Marsyangdi Valley. As you walk, the peaks of Manaslu, Himalchuli and Lamjung tower above-a taste of peaks to come. Forest gives way to high altitude meadows and windswept ridges as you enter the region of Manang-your first real slice of Tibetan culture and landscape.finally you will cross the Thorong pass and arrive the famous Hindus pilgrimages place Muktinath, you will fly to Pokhara from Jomsom and end your adventure journey

Manaslu Larke La Pass with Annapurna Circuit Trekking Itinerary Details:
Day 01:Meet at Kathmandu Airport :
We will meet you at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. When you have had time to settle in and freshen up after your long flight, you will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your program.
During this visit we will help you check your equipment and facilitate the processing of other necessary items such as National Park Permits etc.
Day 02: A full days sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley.
After you have had your breakfast we will take you on a sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu valley. You will visit the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. You will also visit Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, a 2000 year old temple, A visit to Patan City will enchant you with it’s famous fine arts and historical architecture. On return to your hotel you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the famous Durbar Square.
Day 03: Kathmandu Drive to Gorkha (1060m)
Drives approximately 5 hours to reach Gorkha. Gorkha is the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah- the Great, the founder of current Nepal ,In the afternoon sightseeing around Gorkha bazaar and the palace of Gorkha King where firstly brave Gorkha solidiers originated from.
Day 04: Gorkha Trekking to Khanchowk (956m)
first day of our trekking, the trails head to north east towards Budhi Gandaki river, we will follow the right trail toward the Khanchowk bazaar for our first night camp. From khanchok we will have a good view of Gorkha Himal.
Day 05: Khanchowk trekking to Arughat (530 m.)
The trek today involved little bit of up and little bit of down toward Budhi Gandaki. Arughat is the largest village of this river basin.
Day 06: Aarughat trekking to to Soti Khola (750m)
The trek starts to go ahead to soti Khola via Sante Bazaar and Budhi Gandaki valley and reaches to Koir pani, a small village of Magar and Gurung. The trail descends to Ahati Khola. There is a small water fall just above the trail, a larger water fall with a 60 meter drop is visible by climbing upstream. This valley is famous for honey ".
Day 07: Soti Khola trekking to Machha Khola (890m.)
Today the trail passes through forest, villages, streams, pretty waterfalls and green valley until you reach Lapu Besi. This is a village mainly covered by Mongolian inhabitants. From here , the trail follows down to the sandy riverbed of Budhi Gandaki before reach Maccha Khola as small market with few shops and lodges.
Day 08: Machha Khola trekking to Jagat (1350m) :
After crossing Machha Khola trek goes to tiny village of Khola Bensi and the hot springs at Tatopani, the trails goes through forest before arriving Doban. You will cross the river at Lauri on suspension bridge and climbing on a high path to the fields of Jagat.
Day 9:Jagat trekking to Ngyak Beshi:
The day begins by following the river bank again for the first hour up to Ghata Khola . We then cross to the eastern bank before ascending to Philim, one of the few large settlements on this route and home to the Manaslu Conservation Area Project office. From here you can view Mt. Lapuchun (5,950m).
Day 10: Nayak Beshi trekking to Ghap:
The trek takes us through a heavily forested area in a narrow valley until we reach the little settlement of Dang. We then cross the Budhi Gandaki River where the valley opens and we begin our ascent to Rana. The trail now takes us high above the river giving us views of the Manaslu Massif before descending to Ghap. Overnight at Camp:
Day 11: Ghap trekking to Namrung:
Working through a dense forested river valley finishing with a 50 -minute ascent to Namrung. The campsites here are managed by the Manaslu Conservation Area Project.
Day 12: Namrun trekking to Samagaon (3360m):
The trek goes through the forests to Samagaon, passing several Buddhist villages along the way. These areas have been influenced by the Tibetan culture due to its proximity to Tibet, and as a result you will find many monasteries, chortens and mani-walls. Having over one hundred and fifty houses, Samagaon is surprisingly large and bustles with the energy of remote village life. From Samagaon you can see Mt. Manaslu and the Kutang Himal Massif
Day 13: Samagaon Rest Day:
Spend the day resting, exploring Pungen Gompa or excursion to Mt. Manaslu Base Camp. Overnight at Camp.
Day 14: Samagaon trekking to Samdo (3780m)
Trek along the river, before finally ascending,Samdo, Samdo is the site of a Tibetan refugee camp and affords you a rare glimpse into the lifestyle of the Tibetan people. This settlement is along the old salt-trading route with Tibet, The Tibetan border is just four kilometers away from Samdo. This is an excellent view point for Mt. Manaslu, Samdo (Pang phuchuli), Nagdi chuli, Simnang Himal, Manaslu glacier, Manaslu ice fall and several other majestic peaks. overnight in camp.
Day 12: Samdo trekking to Larkya la Phedi (4460m)
Today the trail forwards and climbs in and out of the gorge and reaches the only shelter on the route to the pass, before you reach Larka La Phedi, there is a market called Larkya Bazaar (market) where seasonal fairs are held for the local folks. You will also find a Dharmasala at Larkya La Phedi. Overnight at Camp.
Day 16: Larkya Rest House trekking to Bimtang(3660m) via Larkya La Pass
This is a more strenuous day as have to cross over the Larkya Pass (5,213m) the terrain consists of glacial moraine with a lot of scree to scramble up and over. The trail reaches at the top of the moraine at 4,700m and climbs steeply to the pass at 5,135m. Then the trail descends to Bimtang (" Plain of Sand" in Tibetan Language). This huge valley surrounded by high peaks. Overnight in Bimtang
Day 17: Bimtang trekking to Bagarchhap (2160m) :
The trails goes gradual descent to Dudh Khola through rhododendron and pine forest seeing the north face of Manaslu and part of Lamjung peak above the Marsyangdi valley along the way. The trail continues to Bagarchhap via Tilje and Thonje villages. Overnight at Bagarchhap with the typical Tibetan archicture.
Day 18: BagarChhap trekking to Chame (2630 m.)
Today The trail climbs along the mule track through in and fir forest and then follows the river for a time amongst the higher oak and maple trees. On the way you will have spectacular views of views of major Himalayan peaks. Overnight in Chame.
Day 19: Chame trekking to Pisang (3300m).
Today the trail the trail follows through steep and narrow river valley with deep forest. Along the way you will be rewarded with the best mountain view of Pisang peak and Annapurna 2, Overnight at Pisang
Day 20: Pisang trekking to Manang (3570m)
Today we can follow the two routes to reach Manang, the easier low route follows the valley floor via hongde and the strenuous route follow along the river north side of the valley which takes about 3 hour more than normal lower route.
the trail goes through the fields of grazing Yak and a wide variety of crops before arriving Mananag which provides the spectacular views of Annapurna 2, 3, 4, Gangapurna and Tarkekang.
Day 21: Manang - Acclimatization day
This is a rest day to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Spend a time with visiting monasteries, side trip to Gangapurna Lake, doing some excursions with the wonderful views around the villages, take advice from Himalayan Rescue Association and observe the spectacular views of the Himalaya.
Day 22: Manang to Letdar (4250m). Today the trail move through alpine pastures to scrubby forests of juniper and rose, with leaving the Marshyangdi the trail ascend up to Tenki. From here continue ascend to Letdar via Yak kharka
Day 23: Letdar to Phedi (4420m) or High camp (4600m).from here the trail continue climb along the bank of the Jorsang Khola, It is some time possible to see herds of blue mountain sheep. Stay overnight at Phedi or can continue climbing up to High camp.
Day 24: Phedi or High Camp to Muktinath (3800m).
From Phedi the trail becomes steep, switch backing up moraines and following rocky ridges as it ascends to the pass. The views from the trail and from the pass are outstanding, you can see the long great barrier ridged, Gangapurna, Annapurna, Thorong peak Khatung Kang peak . From the top the trail descends steeply down to Muktinath. This is one of the most important pilgrimage sights for Hindus. It is also home to many ethnics Tibetans and holy Buddhists. Overnight at Muktinath

Day 25: Muktinath trekking to Jomsom via Kagbeni:
Today is easy walk after the great success of Thorong Pass, the train gradually go down to Jharkot with the picturesque kani ( large Gompa) from here the trail stroll among meadows, streams, poplar and fruit trees, finally we arrive Kagbeni a gateway to Upper Mustang, it has posing chortens and ochre-colored Gompas and monastery, you can visit red walled kagchode Thubten Sampheling Gompa which was founded in 1429. After lunch in Kagbeni continue trekking to Jomsom through the windy trail on the bank of Kaligandaki River, overnight in Jomsom
Day 26: Jomosm flight to Pokhara:
Early morning fly to Pokhara, free day. After breakfast we've sightseeing around Pokhara valley. You're free in Pokhara Valley also called “Magic Land” or Dreamland" of Nepal to explore the various interesting place like a boating in Fewa lake over looking the region of Annapurna Areas, David Falls , Mahendra Cave and some Temples . After lunch you're free to shop for souvenirs or rest. Overnight at hotel
Day 27: Pokhara to Kathmandu: Drive or take a flight to Kathmandu. It is 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu or 6 to 7 hour drive by tourist coach, evening join Nepali cultural dinner show, overnight at hotel.
Day 28: Final Departure:
We will take you to the Kathmandu Airport to catch your flight home. We will wish you a happy journey in the traditional and cultural way of Nepal and hope to see you again!
