Karnali River Rafting

Karnali River Rafting, Rafting in Nepal, Nepal rafting, Nepal raft, Rafting package, white water rafting

Karnali Rafting River is situated in the far west of Nepal, the Karnali is one of the longest rivers in Nepal and a true wilderness raft. Fantastic rapids are combined with beautiful mountain scenery, picturesque traditional villages and interesting local culture.

The river is spring forth from the base of Mt. Kailash in Tibet, the centre of the universe for both Hindi and Buddhist religion. Following south in to Nepal it forms the major drainage system of the western districts. Karnali is one of the finest big volume river trips in the world, a classic expedition in to Nepal’s remote, unpopulated Wild West. The river drops in to imposing canyons filled with powerful big volume white water. Towards the end of the trip the river gradient begins to ease as the Karnali leaves the mountain and flows out into the Gangetic plains of the Terai. The jungle thickness as the river broadens, and the pristine beaches become bigger and more beautiful. Finally one can combined the adventure with a wildlife safari to Bardia National Park with River rafting.

Price For The Trip:

The total cost for the trip you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and/or Pokhara will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodation) The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The number of guides and/or porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
