Jomsom to upper Dolpo Trek

Dolpo Trek, Dolpo Trekking, Upper Dolpo Trek, Lower Dolpo Terk, Trekking in Dolpo Region, Dolpo Fix Departures, Trek to Phoksundo Lake, Trek to Shey Gompa, Trek to Saldang - Yangze - Sibu, Trek to Khari, Trek to Tarakot, Trek to Junai - JuphalThe Dolpa region, designated as Shey Phoksundo National Park, is the most remote district in Nepal situated in the Trans Himalayan region ofmid-western Nepal. It was only opened to trekkers in 1990 Dolpo isrestricted area as well where you need to have a special permits to go. Notso many tourists have been in this area. The main attraction of the area isthe wild and pristine landscape. Geographically, it is similar to Tibetan Plateau and is generally dry, cold and sparsely vegetated. The route begins from Jomsom by meandering through pine and cedar forest with views of the huge Dhaualgiri range in the background. The entrance to Dolpo lies beyond the Jangla Bhanjyang Pass, (4500m). At the head of the valley lay snow-capped peaks and the deserted Tibetan plateau beyond. Protected from rain, this region is dry where the Dolpo inhabitants have carved out a niche of survival in the harsh surroundings by trading with nearby Tibet. A vision of beauty, the Phokshindo (Ringmo) and the legendary monastery of the pre-Buddhist Bonpo sect is our momentous destination. As the most desolate and few developed district in Nepal. This trek is reserved for those with a true logic of adventure in Nepal.

Trip Highlights:

Visit Tibetan village at Langtang – Amazing views of Langtang Ri, Ganesh Himal, Lang Sisa – Ascent of Chorkari Ri (5050m) – Panoramic views of 10 peaks over 6000m – Spectacular views of the Ice fluted Gyanghempo- Crossing the Ganjala pass 5122m- Walk through the Helembu valley.
