Honeymoon Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Meet at Kathmandu Airport
Transfer to hotel, where you will be free to settle, freshen up and have some time to relax.
Day 2: Sight-seeing of Kathmandu:
Leave for full day’s sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. The tour includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) & the largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal, Boudhanath. You will also visit Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple, also known as the Monkey Temple)
A short drive follows to Nagarkot, 2175m above the sea- level. This spot provides an excellent view of the sunset over the Himalayan range and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day.
Day 3: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel:
We will wake early to watch the spectacular dawn. The first rays of the sun firing the peaks glowing a multitude of pink, gold and red hues as it slowly lights up the Himalayas, from Kanchenjunga and Everest in the far East, to the Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri in the West. Today we will walk through a col dense forest and local villages. You will have a chance to explore Nepalese village life and we will spend the night at Dhulikhel.
Day 4: Dhulikhel to Kathmandu:
In the morning you can do the short hike to the town of Dhulikhel, where you will be able to view the different types of birds in this area. Later we'll drive back to Kathmandu, visiting the ancient city of Bhaktapur on our way. You will spend the night in your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 5: Kathmandu to Chitwan:
Drive or Fly to Chitwan National Park. You will be welcomed to the Resort you will be staying in with a welcome drink, and a briefing about the programs.
In the evening you will have the chance to visit the Elephant breeding centre.
Day 6: Full day tour in Chitwan National park: Full day jungle activities, including, Elephant riding, jungle walk and Tharu village visit.
Day 7: After breakfast you can go on the bird watching tour. After this we will leave to go to Pokhara, another famous destination of Nepal.
Day 8: Full day sight seeing of Pokhara City. Early in the morning we can take a taxi to the village of Sarangkot set high above Pokhara on a ledge. Here you will be able to view the beautiful sunrise as it spreads slowly across the spectacular snowcapped Himalaya mountain ranges. After lunch we will return to Pokhara to visit Devis falls, the Tibetan refugee camp, explore some caves and finally go boating on Phew Lake.
Day 9: Fly out to Kathmandu: Free day in Kathmandu. You chance to explore lively and colourful Thamel, the fantastic and famous tourist hub which offers an amazing shopping experience and a huge range of Western, European and Nepali cuisine.
In the evening we will join together for a typical Nepal Dinner with a Cultural Dance show included.
Day 10: Final departure, Transfer to airport.
