Ganesh Himal trekking area lies on the central eastern region of Nepal. To experience this trekking area is to find one lucky to perceive the land that has remained sacred and untouched by modern world. Getting at the height of 4100m pass leaving the clouds under you and greeting the massive mountains over 8000m, is not mere amazing but miraculous experience to make.
What are the major highlights of Ganesh Himal region trekking? Its visitors, of course, are likely to have multiple choices of their interest. First, the region delights its visitors with enchanting panorama of snow peaks. The Ganesh Range Peaks (Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, and Ganesh IV) stand out like crystal that exists tall to attract all its visitors. Moreover, it offers an excellent view of the massif Langtang Himal (7300m), Annapurna (8091m) and fishtail (6990m) as well. This region, in addition, sounds more bewitching that it lies between the valley of the Budhi Gandaki to the west and Bhotekoshi to the east.
Trekking through this region is equally significant through cultural point of view. Visitors can observe different ways of life, their culture and be able to contact with rural people in the small villages. How to get to Ganesh Himal Region?
The tour sounds both easy and adventurous. As we leave Kathmandu valley, first glimpse of Ganesh Himal greets us. After 5 hours bus ride we arrive at the trek starting point called Sole Bazaar (town) where we are likely to spend the first night of our outdoor adventure.
