Dorje Lakpa is located in the east of the Langtang Valley and south of Shishapangma at Jugal Himal. The normal route for the peak is described below. It is an attractive mountain seen from Nagarkot and even visible from Kathmandu valley in the clear weather. A good technique in ice is essential and we envisage placing fix ropes in the favorable places, which will help climbing team to achieve their goal. Camp I will be at an altitude 5400m and is well sheltered. Camp II will be at an altitude 6100m, which does not exceed 40' and is visible from the Base Camp. As per the condition of the climate during climbing, we may place a safety camp between summit and camp II. After the summit, we will disassemble the high camps and return by the same route.
