The Dhola village is situated high up the Himalayas in the Annapurna and Manaslu Mountain range in the Mid western Nepal at an altitude of 1210 m above the sea level, the village is north west of Kathmandu about 100 km 4 hour drive distance. These unique and less travels trails are recommended in propose of non touristy site for researches, students, photographers, anthropologies and Nature lover. The accommodation is in an actual home with the traditional Nepali food, allowing you to feel the cross-cultural exchange in the more authentic way unlike staying at the local lodge filled with other backpackers. You will be observing the real Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest quarter and intermingle with the locals.

The trek goes maximum height of 1500m and is home for different types of animals, birds butterflies, More than 200 species, The area is unique with it’s own natural flora and fauna, where large part of the forest is covered with Nepal’s national flower Rhododendrons, stream and waterfalls. Dhola Nalang Village Tour Itinerary

Day 1:Meet at Kathmandu Airport:
We will meet you at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. When you have had time to settle in and freshen up after your long flight, you will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your program. During this visit we will help you check your equipment and facilitate the processing of other necessary items such as National Park Permits etc.

Day 02: A full days sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley:
After breakfast our guide will accompany you on tour of sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley. You will visit the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. You will also visit Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, a 2000 year old temple, and visit Patan City, famous for its fine arts and historical architecture. On return to your hotel you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the famous Durbar Square , overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Dhanding Besi and Trekking to Dhola – Pursuk: Drive to Dhading about 4 hours by bus and explore the city, from Dhading Besi trekking through the subtropical forest with the view of cultivated fields farmers working on the fields and watchful eyes of shepherd to their animals, stay in the local house at Pursuk.

Day 04: Exploring around the real life of village people, visit School. Some historical places, old big stone (in a clear day the village offers wonderful Mountain View from Manaslu to Annapurna.

Day 05: Pursuk trekking to Shreeban Nature Camp Nalang. Today we will work mostly flat level, we will visit our small project The Himalayan Library at Maidi Ukhubari, it will take 4 to 5 hour work to reach Shreeban Nature camp which provides you majestic views of Himalaya at 180 degrees. Good chance to explore different kind of birds and different kinds of animals.

Day 06: Shreeban Nature Camp trekking to Bungchuk and drive back to Kathmandu . Today the trail goes mostly downhill though the cultivated fields with rice, millet and maize, we will catch local bus or take a private car to Kathmandu from Bungchuk after drive 3 hour we will arrive Kathmandu, evening join Nepali cultural dinner show.

Day 07: Final Departure: We will take you to the Kathmandu Airport to catch your flight home. We will wish you a happy journey in the traditional and cultural way of Nepal and hope to see you again!

The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and/or Pokhara will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodation) The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses.
