While making your trip with us, we need a photocopy of your passport and 20% of the total amount, a non-refundable booking deposit is required for every trip booking per person. The rest of money can be paid up on arrival on our office, full payment is required before departure the trip and for your last minute booking before a week you need to pay full amount of money as an advance

Risk & Liabilities
We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once in a life time journey. Above The Himalaya Trekking (p) Ltd always puts all its efforts honestly and seriously in making your journey smooth and pleasant. All the services will be provided as per the agreement between you and us in the time of booking. How ever all Nepal, India, Tibet and Bhutan tour is run are strictly under their own policies and Tourism Authority. Above the Himalaya Trekking (p) Ltd or its agent shall not be responsibility for any change or cancellation of programmes due to unavoidable circumstance such as Government restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, avalanches, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, breakdown of vehicle, Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spots. So it is most advisable that clients to have full insurance against medical and personal accident risk. Cancellation insurance is also most recommended.
Cancellation Policy:
If our clients fail to make their trip or want to cancel their program due to any unavoidable circumstances following charges will be made for the Trip Cancel
Less than 60 days in advance: 15%
Less than 45 days in advance: 25%
Less than 30 days in advance: 50%
Less than 15 days in advance: 75%
Less than 10 days in advance: 85%
On or after the starting date: No refund will be made.
Program Change/Delay:
The itinerary can change without notice due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control like weather hazards, Land slides, political unrest, road blockage, avalanches, sudden sickness, etc. The program can be customized as per the interest of the clients and if Above The Himalaya cancel your trip due to unavoidable circumstances like war, natural disasters, political unrest, bad climate etc, AHT would be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. We keep it preserve for your next time but not longer than one year.
Price Changing:
We reserve the right to revise pricing rate if posted in our marketing material and website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc. Most of the time Domestic flight fare is changing due too fuel price hike up. We always try our best to make a present price in our treks/tours.
Passport and Visas:
All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or up on arrival in Kathmandu Airport . Nepalese visas cost is US$ 30 till date.
Travel Insurance:
Our clients must have comprehensive travel insurance package. Their insurance must cover against medical, personal accident, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, lost of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects etc
Flight delay:
Flight by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays for notorious weather in remote areas and some time operational complications which could be happened in particular in Everest region Lukla flight, Annapurna region Jomsom flight, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc.
When these flights are considered in the itinerary, it is also recommended to carry extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. Above The Himalaya Trekking will not be responsible for these additional expenses or costs incurred from lost connections, so plan accordingly.
Trekking in the remote areas or in as described above, especially during odd season, you’re highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare with some delays and avoid frustrating consequence. In case of delay in flight prior to trek departure or at the end of the trek, you need to meet your accommodation, food costs by yourself. |
