Best of Nepal tour is specially designed for the travelers who may have a tight time schedule or perhaps is cautious of high altitude treks, and yet may still want to do a small trek to experience the Himalayas life style, easy white water rafting and Jungel adventure tour in Asia best National Park. The tour is start after a 6 hour drive, or 30 minute flight to Pokhara, you will start the easy trek to famous Annapurna region. You will walk through the patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests and past Gurung local villages, the Himalayan and country side views from Ghandruk are incredible and from here we will visit the natural hot spring.
From the picturesque villages below the mystical mountain of Machapuchhare, to the lowland of Terai jungle plains, this trip is the very best combination of Trekking, Rafting, Jungle Safari, and Sightseeing, and is an excellent introduction to the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal.
Beginning with a warm up trek in the Annapurna region, we will leave you at Nepal's most popular rafting River, the Trishuli, where you can enjoy your rafting adventure with our expert Rafting Guide.
Next we will travel by vehicle, and on elephant back, to the famous jungle of Chitwan National Park. Here it is possible to sight the Royal Bengal Tiger. Feeling refreshed after a nights rest in comfortable accommodation, you will return to Kathmandu. You will have free time to explore the Kathmandu sights, and do some shopping.
Best of Nepal Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel
Our Airport representative will meet you at the Tribhbuwan Internatoins airport and transfer you to your designated hotel, if you have time we have meeting in our office and disucss about your tour programme, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: Today after breakfast you will leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. after the tour we will have meeting about the equipment checking and introduction to your trekking crews.
Day 03: Drive/ Fly to- Pokhara stay overnight, hotel
The tourist bus leaves early in the morning and goes thought the scenic Prithvi High way, it is 6 to 7 hour drive depends on roads traffic and bus will stop for breakfast and lunch. You will drive through the Trishuli and Marshyangdi River bank with the country side view, for easy and comfortable travel you can catch a 25 minutes flight from morning to afternoon, on arrival Pokhara we will take you to your hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara Trekking to Ghandruk 1990m:
After breakfast we will drive to Nayapul trekking starting point, via scenic road about 1 hour 30 minutes drive. From here the trekking start along the terraced fields beneath the splendid panorama of awe-inspiring glaciated Himalayan mountain ranges. After passing a flatland, forest, cultivated lands and a suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, we arrive at the beautiful village of Ghandruk after walking for 4 and half hours. Ghandruk is an ideal vantage point in this pristine village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli.
Day 05: Ghandruk trek To Choomrong – Jhinu Danda: Working through a flat level for an hour passing through terraces, streams and green scenery, you will work down to Kimrung Khola, from here trail start ascending, you will work through rhododendron forest and nice terraces, Stay at Chhomrong(2040m) towering above the villages is the mighty peak of Annapurna south, with the Fishtail facing it across the valley. from here about 1 and half hour working you will arrive a Jhinu Danda and can enjoy a natural hotspring.
Day 06: Jhinu Hot Spring trek to Pothana (1990m):
After breakfast next morning, the trail continues on to Landruk, a beautiful Gurung village which provides you an excellent view of the surrounding mountain ranges. The trail emerges in the main Modi Khola valley and reaches Tolkha. After that we will continue on to Pothana, overnight at guest house. You will have an excellent view of Mt Fish tail ( Machhapuchhare 6697m) from here.
Day 07: Pothana trekking to Phedi drive back to Pokhara: you will follow the trail with pavel stones through rhododendron forest. You will arrive Dhampus.It is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities. From here work down to mostly down hill through fields to forest to Phedi from here 30 minutes drive to Pokhara.
Day 08: Pokhara Rafting and Visit Chitwan National Park: Drive to the Charaudi rafting starting point. At the river everyone is fitted with a life jacket and helmet. Then the trip leader will give a lesson on river safety, paddling technique and what to do if you suddenly find yourself not sitting in a raft anymore. We begin rafting in languid pleasurable fashion to get the feel of the motion on a raft. The riverside scenery is exhilarating, after rafting we will drive to Chitwan National park, you will be transferred to our hotel where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing on our lodge & its facilities. After being given your programmes for the day, your room will then be allocated to you. After you will start your activities by doing the village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Visit to the National Park Visitor’s centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife & Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River.
19.00 : Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers or Slide show presentation on almost everything under the Chitwan.
20.00 : Dinner.
Day 09: 06.00 : Wake up call.
06.30 : Breakfast.
07.00 : Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. + Jungle Walk + on the way back one can enjoy the elephant bathing.
13.00 : Lunch.
15.00 : Elephant Safari. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.
19.00 : Tharu cultural dance presentation or Slides show presentation.
20.00 : Dinner
06.00 : Wake up call.
06.30 : Breakfast.
07.00 : Visit to the Government Elephant Breeding Centre.
10.00 : Drive back to Kathmandu, alternatively you can take a flight also. It will be about 5 hours drive to Kathmandu and you will be transferred to your hotel, in the evening we will have welcome farewell Nepali cultural dinners show.
Day 11: Final Departure, We will take you to the Airport on time for your international flight.
