Base Camp Treks trail takes you through an ever-changing
landscape of rice fields, misty forests and
tiny villages.
The Annapurna Himal is a vast
massif of several peaks above 7,000 m, part
of the range forms a natural am phi-theater
known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Ringed by
such giants Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli,
Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna 1, Annapurna
2, Ganagapurna and Annapurna 3. We trek through
rhododendron and bamboo forests, as we climb
towards the famous Fishtail Mountain Base Camp.
From the Annapurna Base Camp we use the same
route till Chomrong downstream the Modi Khola
before making a worthy detour to Ghandrung,
a beautiful and large Gurung village. |

Meet at
Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel |
Days
2: |
Sight-seeing of Kathmandu:
Leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
valley includes the Hindu temple complex
at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage
site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa
at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple
the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple)
and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back
to hotel and stay. |

Trek 1, Pokhara to
Tikhedhunga- One hour drive to Nayapul
walk through the lust, green Modiriver
valley. Past waterfalls with plunge pools
that invite you to swim. |

Trek 2, Tikhedhunga
to Ghorepani: A gentle climb through pasture
and cultivated fields as you climb up
you walk up besides the cascading river
through refreshingly cool oak and rhododendron
forest you will have a good view of Annapurna
South on the way. |

Trek 3, Ghorepani
to Tadapani: Early morning work up to
Poonhil, One of the best Himalayan view
points in Nepal Early morning working
to the Poonhil, which provides a unobstructed
view of the high Himalaya, we can have
a breath taking views of Annapurna South,
Annapurna 1, Annapurna 2, Annapurna 3,
Fishtail, Lamjung Himal, and many more
mountains. And start our trek to Tadapani,
A short early morning climb to the Deurali
pass for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri
and the Annapurna , Trail descends steeply
through dense moss-covered forest rich
with bird life to Tadapani which provides
you a close up sunset view over the Annapurna
Himalayas. |

Trek 4, Rest day
in Tadapani: Acclimatization day as you
adjust to the altitude, you can either
spend the day relaxing and enjoying the
mountain views, or hike for a day. |
| Days 8: |
Trek 5, Tadapani
to Chhomrung: The trail drops down form
Tadapani, through dense rhododendron forest.
Stay at Chhomrong(2040m) towering above
the villages is the mighty peak of Annapurna
south, Annapurna 4 with the Fishtail facing
it across the valley. |
| Days 9: |
Trek 6, Chhomrong
to Dovan: We walk through the forest of
Kuldighar . The track winds steeply up
through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest
to the village of Dovan |
| Days10: |
Trek 7, Dovan to
Machhapuchre Base Camp: A trek of the
narrow Modi khola valley will bring you
almost to the base of the M.B.C. Today
we climb on past the Machhapuchhare Base
Camp (which isn't really a base camp since
climbing the mountain is not permitted)
to the Annapurna Base Camp. This area
is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since
it is totally surrounded by mountains.
From here it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna
Base camp, which offers spectacular views
(5:30 hrs).Here you will spend a day gazing
away at the snow covered peaks above and
the beauty of the landscape around. |

Trek 8, Machhapuchhare
Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp. (Back
to Dovan) Early morning working to Annapurna
Base Camp,here you stand in the century,
the 360 degree views are breathtaking,
Although clouds roll in early, the curtain
often lifts at sunset to rival radiant,
glowing peaks after having a breakfast
in Annapurna Base Camp. Trek back to dovan
via Machhapuchhare Base Camp. |

Trek 9, Dovan to
Jhinu danda. Enjoy a natural hot springa
at Jhinu danda stay overnight there. |

Trek 10, Jhinu danda
to Landruk a beautiful Gurung village
provides you a excellent view. |
