rhododendron forests. This trek provides some
of the best view of the Himalayas. The trek
goes maximum height of 3200 m and suitable for
any body of a reasonable level of fitness.
This trek, like others in the Annapurna region, takes off from the serene lakeside city of Pokhara . Trekking will begin from Phedi village which can be reached after a short drive from Pokhara. During journey, the natural beauties reward you in your each & every footsteps. During the work you can study the Gurung's culture, tradition and their living style. The mail target of the trek is reaching to Poon Hill (3210m). You cannot imagine the magnificence of the sunrise that you will witness from here, which illuminates the peaks of the entire range, leaving you spellbound. The added presence of rice terraces completes the picture making it a photographer's paradise besides the best sunrise view in the world you will also have a chance to have a best view of these mountains Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m) Fishtail (6997m) Annapurna South, Himchuli and other famous mountain in this area.

Annapurna Sunrise view Trek Itinerary
Days 1: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel
Days 2: Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: Leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back to hotel and stay.
Days 3: Early morning at 7 am bus drive to Pokhara (820m). Explore Pokhara. Relax boating in Phewa Lake .
Days 4: Pokhara to Dhampus(1750m): About 30 minutes drive to Phedi your trekking starting point. The trail is through a forested valley, in parts along a ridge. On the way you can have majestic views of the mountains, and they continue to improve from this point. Overnight in Dhampus.
Days 5: Dhampus to Landruk(1620m): A relatively easy days walk, descending a stone stair case, then a climb through forests to a ridge. Pass streams, fields, a village school and cross a suspension bridge. Finally you reach the white washed stoned buildings. Overnight in Landruk.
Days 6: Landruk to Ghandruk(1940m): arrive A huge Gurung village Ghandruk at 1940m is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal and explores the maze like streets of this thriving Gurung settlement, You can have a good view of Annapurna south and Fisthail. Over night in hotel.
Days 7: Ghandruk to Tadapani (2660m) continue trek to Tadapani through the dense forest Tadapani which provides you a close up sunset view.
Days 8: Tadapani to Ghorepani (2775m): It will be about 5 to 6 hour working passing through deep pine and rhododendron forest with some small waterfalls.
Days 9: Ghorepani/Poon Hill to Tikhedhunga: Ghorepani / Tikhedhunga (1540m). Early morning about 1 hour hike up to Poon hill, this is the best spot to see the splendid view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri as well as Sunrise . A Big crowd of tourists will be there in the morning time. After spending wonderful time in Poon Hill then trek down to Ghorepani after breakfast trek down to Tikhe Dhunga.
Days 10: Tikhedhunga / Nayapul to Pokhara (820m): From Tikhedhunga, the trail goes all the way down to Birethanti then drive to Pokhara. Overnight in hotel.
Days 11: Fly or drive back to Kathmandu.
Days 12: Free day in Kathmandu , you can do shopping or looking around join to the cultural show dinner in the evening.
Days 13: Final departure, transfer to airport.

The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and/or Pokhara will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodation) The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses.
