Annapurna Ghandruk Loop, 3, 4 days trek is suitable
for children or weary trekkers, as it doesn’t
entail any particularly long walking days and
there is always plenty to see. The trek envolves
no difficult climbing or ascents to high altitudes.
The trail passes through rhododendron forest
and fascinating traditional Gurung villages
at Dhampus & Ghandrung; a nice opportunity
to witness the culture and tradition of Nepalese
countryside.
This trek gives fine views of the Annapurnas, The walk start from Birethanti and ends at Phedi, The walk passes through Nepal famous Gurung Village Ghandruk which provides you breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli.

Annapurna Ghandruk Loop Trek itinerary details:
Day 01: Meet at Kathmandu Airport Transfer to Hotel:
We will meet you at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel.
When you have had time to settle in and freshen up after your long flight, you will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your programme.
During this visit we will help you check your equipment and facilitate the processing of other necessary items such as National Park Permits etc.
Day 2: A full days sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley:
The next morning after breakfast you will leave for a full days tour of sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley.
You will visit the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. You will also visit Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple , a 2000 year old temple, and visit Patan City , famous for its fine arts and historical architecture. On return to your hotel you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the famous Durbar Square.
Day 3: Flight or drive to Pokhara:
After breakfast we will drive you to the Domestic Airport to take a 25 minute flight to Pokhara. Or you can take a tourist bus to Pokhara from scenic Prihivi high way which will take you about 6 to 7 hour drive including a time for breakfast and lunch on the way. In the evening you can go for boating trip on Phewa Lake will follow where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Annapurna Himalayan Range reflected in all it's glory in the calm green waters of the lake and visit the temple which is only accessable by boat.
Day 04: Pokhara drive to Nayapul and Trekking to Ghandruk (1980m): Drive to Nayapul it is out One and half hour drive, from here we start walk along the terraced fields beneath the splendid panorama of awe-inspiring glaciated Himalayan mountain ranges. Afrer passing a flatland, forest, cultivated lands and a suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, we arrive at the beautiful village of Ghandruk after walking for 3 to 4 hours. An ideal vantage point in this pristine village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli.
Day 05: Ghandruk trekking to Pothana (1990m)
We descent down through the paved courtyards of Ghandruk village past several tea houses, After crossing a stream on a suspension bridge the trail emerges in to the main Main Modi Khola valley and reaches Tolkha. After that continue working to Pothana, You will have a excellent view of Mt Fish tail ( Machhapuchhare 6697m) from here.
Day 06: Pothana trekking Phedi drive to Pokhara: Today will follow the trail with pavel stones through rhododendron forest before arrive Dhampus,it is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities. From here work down to mostly down hill through fields to forest to Phedi from here 30 minutes drive to Pokhara.
Day 07: Pokhara to Kathamndu: Drive or take a flight to Kathmandu. It is 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu or 6 to 7 hour drive by tourist coach, evening join Nepali cultural dinner show, overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Final departure, transfer to airport
We will take you to the Kathmandu Airport to catch your flight home

The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and/or Pokhara will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodation) The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The number of guides and/or porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
